The Second fruit of the Spirit

JOY
This is the second fruit of the Holy Spirit. God wants us to be filled with joy John 15:11. Being a Christian does not make us to be moody. In fact devil likes to cause sorrow in the lives of children of God. The plan of God is for us to be happy and be of good cheers.
A joyful man will serve God better ; this is what devil does not want and he always come with various forms of challenges to distract the elects. Joy flows from within even in the presence of challenges, this fruit of the Spirit will manifest.
Joy is an expression of fulfilled life (Luke 10:17 Luke 15:7) and as a Christian, we must always have joyful countenance everyday: This is the strength we derived in Christ Jesus. Nehemiah 8;10. A true Christian must not allow his or her appearance to discourage others. The joy derived from the Lord is eternal and it is source of the strength we need to succeed.
