The compromising Church
Rev 2:12-16
To the Angel of church in Pergamos. I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My Name and did not deny My faith. But I have few things against you because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who talk Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat the things sacrificed to Idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. Which thing I hate.
If we consider the above bible verses, we will see that the compromising church isn't new and it has been from the beginning. This is another strategy of of Satan to slow down the work of salvation
Though the church had faith but they allowed many people who polluted their members with wrong doctrines and teaching
They could not correct them maybe they are influential members and of high political status
They corrupt the members and they pollute the house of God and the leader of the church is afraid to talk because of the fear of loosing them
This is another stern warning from the one with sharp sword in His mouth. Church should repent and go back to the first love of winning souls for the kingdom of God
Let us disseminate this gospel of freedom to all the corners of the earth through the Internet because the time is running fast.
